Independent Midwives - Kerry Taylor
I work as an independent midwife as I prefer to provide one to one, personalised care, in a way which is not available through the N.H.S. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families, and sharing their excitement of welcoming the new baby.
As I only take on a very small caseload, I will be completely committed to caring for you and your baby, and when you are in labour, you and your baby will be the most important people in the world to me.
I work in East and West Sussex and can provide a full range of maternity care for you in your home. I am a skilled midwife with many years' experience caring for women during pregnancy and labour, and I will be there for you throughout your pregnancy, birth and in the early days with your new baby.
I passionately believe that homebirth with a dedicated and experienced midwife is a very safe option and has many benefits, as does the use of water in labour. However, I realise that for some women, a hospital birth is preferable. I can provide all-round midwifery care and support for you in any situation.
My care and advice to you will be based on recent evidence and my many years experience as a midwife, rather the strict and rigid hospital policies.
